DOULOS

We are Doulos. Doulos is the greek word for slave. We are a group of believers who seek Jesus in prayer and fasting, making these truths a part of our daily lives. Seeking to have a progressive relationship with Christ, we seek to die to ourselves daily; living as servants unto Christ. As Christ served us unto death, we serve others (believers and non-believers alike) whether with our time, finances, or prayer; our lives are not our own so we give liberally of our blessings with the hopes of leading people to Jesus. Evangelism, sharing of the gospel, is what defines us; preaching Jesus by living a sanctified life and also vocally boasting in Jesus to the world. Who we are is Jesus and Jesus period. Fellowship, servitude, prayer, and Evangelism, that is Doulos!

ELEMENT

Element is our Velocity Girls' Ministry. An element is a building block to everyday life. We want to show these girls that God is our main element. The goal is to train girls to become godly women, by developing the girls in God's truth. We want to uncover the lies that Satan has led teen girls to believe through worldly ideals. We want to show them what it means to be a godly woman and how to live in a way that is pleasing to Him.

I:58

The goal of i:58 is to glorify God by engaging our spirit and body in a one month fast from all drinks except water. We will collect the money saved to buy food and clothing, then use them to witness to those in need, demonstrating God's provision for the body and salvation of the spirit. "Is this not the Fast I have chosen?" Isaiah 58:6

MOUNTAIN MINISTRY

Mountain Ministry is a ministry that is designed to get students off the couch and into the great outdoors. From camping to biking, we aim to disciple students and create relationships while we enjoy God's amazing creation.

THE BRETHREN

The Brethren is our Velocity Boys' Ministry. We want to create a brotherhood of support and discipleship to these boys. We encourage them to become godly men by teaching them what biblical definition of manhood is and how to live in a way that is pleasing to God. We want to address the potential pitfalls to men in today's society and how to avoid them.

U MINISTRY

Velocity is into what U are. This ministry aims to make lasting relationship and support students outside of normal Velocity events and services. Students can give us information on any upcoming extracurricular activities they are involved in and we will try to support them in what they are involved in by sending a Velocity leader to their event.
