Kevin and Jenn Miller

Kevin Miller was born in Glendale, Arizona in 1983, and moved to Albuquerque in 1986. He grew up in a Christian home, and went to Christian school for kindergarten through 7th grade. Until 8th grade came along, "the Christian thing" was just what he did – it didn't have much meaning. In 8th grade and later in high school, he recognized his need to make his faith his own – not relying anymore on Christian family ties.

In High School, Kevin really began to feel God's calling on his life. He and a couple other students were involved in starting a youth group at the small church they attended, which is still going on today. God began to use him to teach His Word, plan activities for the group, and develop leadership skills. He was also elected President of his High School Bible Club, which Kevin undertook not knowing what excellent training it would be for his future.

After high school, he spent the summer of 2002 as a counselor at Lone Tree Bible Ranch. This is where God did some very intensive heart surgery on him and his faith was greatly strengthened. After that summer, he attended the Calvary of Albuquerque School of Ministry, which equipped him and involved him in ministry.

Doors began to open to continue to serve in youth ministry during his year in School of Ministry. He began teaching on Sundays for the Middle School group; then, after a month-long mission trip to Nicaragua, he was asked to teach on Wednesday nights. In November of 2003, he married his wife, Jenn, and she became a very valuable ministry partner to him. After a few months of teaching on Wednesday nights, the youth pastor felt a calling elsewhere and Kevin was asked to take his place.

He's doing what he always dreamed of doing and enjoying the fruit of the ministry.

Kevin & Jenn's daughter, Emery Meredith, was born on Sunday, December 10, 2006.
