…Our role as youth leaders is to ground our children in the things of
God so they can be influential without being influenced. – Andy Stanley

Middle School is such an impressionable age.  The decisions these students make today determine who they’ll be in the future.  That is why developing a strong leadership is so important to us.  Being a leader is a great way to have an eternal impact on someone else’s life.  And, as you may have already noticed, God loves to use our past mistakes and errors for His glory in other people’s lives.
There are many ways to get involved with Velocity.  We’re always looking for people who would like to get involved in helping with stuff like baking, driving for events, opening their homes as host homes, and more.  Click below to email us about that if you’re interested.  We’re also always on the look-out for great, solid, mature Christians to help us in the ministry on a weekly basis.  There are many ways to do that such as weekly discipleship groups, weekly services, out-of-town retreats, smaller in-town events, email Q&A Team, Prayer Team, and so much more!
If this sounds like something you’d like to commit to, click below for a leader application, take your time filling it out, then get it back to the Student Ministry office to set up a meeting with Kevin.
